Scope of work

What the service covers

Aesthetic machinery cleaning

Cleaning focused on the appearance and cleanliness of machinery and its immediate surroundings, to an agreed scope and standard.

Removal of accumulated soiling

Oil, dust, debris and production residue removed from external surfaces using methods selected for the machine and material.

Machine beds, guards and frames

Cleaning around machine beds, guarding, cast frames, weldments and accessible components, including ledges and internal corners.

Control panels and operator interfaces

Careful cleaning of panel faces, screens and operator interfaces, with appropriate products and controlled moisture.

Cleaning ahead of planned servicing

Machinery cleaned before servicing or maintenance so that equipment can be approached and inspected on a clean surface.

Shutdown and out-of-hours work

Attendance during shutdown windows, evenings, nights or weekends where production cannot be interrupted.

One-off and scheduled programmes

A single defined clean, a repeat programme at agreed intervals, or attendance linked to your shutdown calendar.

Scheduling

Operational scheduling options

  • Planned shutdown periods

Work programmed into an existing shutdown window and sequenced around other site activity.

  • Before servicing or maintenance

Cleaning completed ahead of planned servicing so machinery can be inspected on a clean surface.

  • Outside production hours

Evening, night and weekend attendance where production cannot be interrupted.

  • One-off trial clean

A defined initial clean, allowing the approach and results to be assessed before commitment.

  • Ongoing cleaning contract

A recurring programme agreed to a frequency and scope that suits the site.

Scope boundaries

What this service does not include

To keep responsibilities clear for both parties, the following are outside the scope of our machinery cleaning work unless separately agreed in writing:

  • Mechanical servicing, repair or adjustment
  • Regulatory inspection or certification
  • Decontamination or specialist technical maintenance
  • Dismantling of assemblies beyond agreed access

Cleaning is provided for appearance and housekeeping purposes. We make no claims about machine performance or condition arising from the work.
